Sunny sunday

It felt mild and so we went to Roosebeck beach ( while we still have fuel in the car)
As always it was very peaceful and  not busy. It's a beach that most people shoot past.

High tide was due in 90 minutes but we were able to walk almost as far as usual. I'm not sure why but the tide comes in from that end first and the end that is out towards the open sea stays uncovered for longer.

The previous tide had smoothed out the sand. No gullies or mounds of shells or seaweed . Just a long white line of cockle shells .
It was very relaxing listening to the swoosh swoosh of the waves.
My heart breaks to see so much of the world in such turmoil
