Sleeping Beauty, encore

I saw this production by Matthew Bourne. a couple of weeks ago and loved it so much that I took Daughter, Hubster and Mum & Dad.

The production was sheer perfection; even better second time round. It moved my Mum to tears on more than one occasion and even my Daddio (a lover of opera, not ballet) was totally impressed.

This time we caught up with it at Curve, Leicester; an incredible building. What was particularly fab was that as we came out, they'd drawn up huge automated sliding panels to give this view of the inside workings of the stage. Fascinating stuff.

I really would urge you to see this amazing production whilst its on tour.
