Whitley Bay…

Travels taking me south today and have opted to break from the usual Newcastle stopover to stay closer to my chosen destination tomorrow. Has been another very nice day but a bitterly cold wind blowing here driving down the temperature.

My mood has lifted today as the holiday blues fade away and starting to get back into a work routine and the reality of how fortunate I really am, a self imposed reality check is often needed and I have given myself a good shake.

Now off to see if there is haddock and chips on the menu for tonight’s dinner as it would be criminal not to have fish n chips in this neck off the woods.
