Phoenix?

Sat in the wildflower garden just after shooting this & a Red Kite cruised across just 30ft above us, pursued (carefully & at a distance) by the flock of black headed gulls that had a few minutes earlier been mopping up the remnants of a fish supper someone tipped into the lake.
