Basil and the Crocuses

A beautifully sunny day although we woke to a frost. Temperatures are slowly beginning to climb. The forecast is for cloudy weather for the next two days.

Someone complained to me last week that they hadn't seen any photos of Basil recently, so here he is, resting on a damp, muddy lawn amidst the crocuses. The sun was warm though.

I was in the garage doing some flower photography. I've always admired Polina Plotnikova's image of white crocuses. I can freely admit that my efforts are not up to the same standard.
