A very different Blip
Back to the usual today - dull, with a chilly wind, quite gusty at times.
I walked downtown after lunch to buy a paper - and for exercise of course - and found nothing inspiring for a Blip, so today's is a 'Grumpy Old Man' Blip!
At the top of Star Brae, which is a path leading down to the town at the Tesco end, sits a yellow salt bin. The top was pulled off and thrown over the bank several years ago; there's a steep drop down to the back of some flats along here and it's full of rubbish, much of it long term. The salt in the bin is of course now a stodgy soup, most of the salt being dissolved in the rain of years.
The fact that some people put their rubbish in this salt bin does tend to suggest to the charitable eye that if there was a rubbish bin there then it might be used. I shall write to the council! Maybe one day I could Blip a picture of the new one!
