Wow ...

After another hectic day - Bournemouth in the morning, and then back to Southampton in the afternoon, I took my mother to my favourite restaurant, JSW in Petersfield tonight and we had the 7 course taster menu:

Winter Vegetable Soup with Parmesan Crouton
Scallops, Celeriac Puree and Truffle Vinaigrette
Warm Smoked Haddock Fish Pie
Textures of Pork with Beetroot
"Navarin" of Lamb with Tarragon
Apple, Blackberry & Vanilla
Rhubarb and Custard Cheesecake

I unreservedly recommend JSW to the whole of blip-land. Jake Watkins - you are a genius, and fully deserve a second star.
