Australasian Swamphen

Known in New Zealand as a Pukeko.
I think they are quite an odd bird but colourful, they run away at the slightest thing and will fly at times but not often.
I'm unsure what purpose the serve and farmers are not keen on them as they are a bit aggressive.

Quite a constructive day as the new tyres arrived for my bandsaw so was able to repair that and had a clear up in the garage and found my work bench!
Now it's clear I shall get on with my tug which has been neglected.
