Boss phoned to say I'm on Ideal Homes Show at Olympia after all... so having the meeting has borne immediate fruit... 8 days in London, going down Thursday. Sadly it's because a colleague is in hospital, an operation on his leg hasn't gone well so he has to stay in for a while and won't be up to doing a show when they let him out... Had to cancel a couple of appointments for Friday, but they'll rearrange in a couple of weeks. Just trying to sort how I get from a tasting in Spalding finishing about 8pm on Thursday to Olympia for 10am Friday, via dropping my car in Bloxwich... and then the return the week after... some late nights / early mornings I think...!
I ordered a book!! - exclamation marks because I don't really read books these days... but it's one that was recommended by the proprietor of the posh hotel in Belfast and I think Bex will enjoy it, I might try and read it first... (see extra)
Quick customer visit to Ruskington, showed me his recent Pieroth order and challenged me to compete on price (I can't!), so pleased he ordered a case anyway - and added a bottle of port too (:
Took Bex's car to garage for MOT tomorrow, realised indicators aren't working - hope that's a cheap job!!
