Suburban wildlife

Blip courtesy of my parents today who spotted this heron on their neighbour’s roof.

L slept well last night which means I did too. I told her teacher about her tumble when I dropped off this morning. About half an hour later the school nurse phoned me to follow up on the details, which impressed me.

I didn’t take L swimming tonight as a precaution.

In other news, it’s been ten years today since the spinal surgery that required me to make some key changes in my life. I’ve pretty much accepted my limitations now even though they still frustrate me and cause me pain.
