First Hellebore

It was another very frosty morning again today.  I had noticed from blips in previous years at the same time that the hellebore seems to flower just now so I checked and sure enough there were flowers there today.  The other thing I have noticed at the very beginning of March is that there has been frogspawn on the pond but the pond was frozen this morning and there was no sign of any frogspawn.

I went to St John’s to see Mark again today.  He was very cheerful as he has access to food (soups and yoghurt) again.
