Sunshine with a cold wind

When out on a wander we found ourselves looking for frogs spawn in ditches and puddles along the road, sadly there is quite a lot which is fine so long as it all remains wet. A few minutes later when near the Loch John spotted a dead puffin, it was quite small, very sad as well as unusual for Dervaig. It is thought the recent wind must have blown it onto the Loch. Generally they are found further out on small islands.

And the gritter lorry was out this afternoon, although I believe this cold spell is due to change.
