Silence

In to the office today for a series of workshops. There were also some big announcements and a sign by the coffee machines that they were filming our leadership team making some of the announcements.

After work I took a 20 minute walk to Hanway St, just off Tottenham Court Road, to meet a former colleague in Murder Inc. for a cocktail and then on to a very enjoyable - and very boozy - dinner at Hakkasan Hanway Place. It was lovely to catch up with him again and to discover that he’s moved out of London to Cheshire, commuting only when necessary. I do think we should have drunk fewer bottles of wine between us. I didn’t see the final bill but I imagine it was not small.
