One of many...

I saw 10 assorted war vessels sail past today - and there were more that I missed! Somewhere, not too far away, there must be an international gathering - or do you all know something that I don't'!! All the ships were different and all were overseen by tugs strategically placed on the river.

I have since found out that they were on exercise - on our side!

Where else in the world can you get such interesting action on a gloomy and mizzly day?

Intertwingled with all of this I had a lovely day in the company of the dear parentals plus the gorgeous Susan - and the lovely catkin keeps me going in the quieter moments. Am at row 45 now - but have not had much time today...must crack on tomorrow if possible as I am learning to weave at the weekend - am so excited about that!
