Tiki tour

Another beautiful, if cold, day.  After croissants and coffee we headed off, first to Albion Road to pick up A and N then east, along the coast road.

First stop was North Berwick (very busy and difficult parking) where we had a walk around the harbour and then a bite in the Seabird Centre, followed by a Luca's ice cream (what else?) on the front.

Then to Dunbar, which was much quieter.  The walk there was up to the Battery at the Harbour.  My first visit there.  Dunbar is a working harbour with a lot of information boards about the history which was  very helpful. The sun was coming and going but it was still fine.

Then we headed back to Edinburgh via Stenton, Gifford and Haddington.  No stops as A finds walking difficult (she is on a long waiting list for new knees). The inevitable queue at Sheriffhall and then back here for Pousse Rapiere cocktails before getting 'glammed up' for the last meal of the weekend.

Managed to take us on a  37 when a 7 would be better and it was very chilly walking along Princes Street but we got to Twenty ok which unlike the places last night was deserted.  However, we had a lovely meal and more chat and then a walk up the Bridges for the bus home.

It was a good day spent with good friends.  The extras show bits of our trip.
