What is This I See Before Me?

A flower?  Can it BE?  A brave little snowdrop? Daring to raise its head? Now? It is still winter. Does it not realize that this thaw we are having today will not linger? 
 
What a day! Sunshine, 16 °Celsius..positively balmy! We lost a lot of snow...half of my front lawn is now visible and green, the icicles on my garden gate have almost all melted away....I have a little pond forming out back...could this be spring? Not likely. But if not, it was fun while it lasted....

Hope those are hardy little snowdrops out there...we could sure use some blooms - even tiny wee ones -  in the neighbourhood!
