In Solidarity
Hubby was up early to help the Knights with the monthly breakfast. I crossed off several items from our pre-travel checklist. Somehow I missed the day we were encouraged to show our support for Ukraine so decided to display my solidarity today. They need a miracle but I solemnly believe that is possible. We went to Mancil’s basketball game; they lost by one. Hubby ran an errand while I shopped for Momma and us. Then we finally took River his birthday gifts. They were hoping for a little get together but schedules haven’t aligned yet. We packed the car, gathered the food my sister will take to WV for us and headed to Parker’s last make up game. They won by a bunch; the kids played a great game. His undefeated 8th grade season reminded me that he is joining his aunts Kim and Kristen and cousin Skylar who also have that same distinction. We took Momma home and hope to get to bed at a reasonable hour. We have a long drive tomorrow. Thankfully, the convoys will be going in the opposite direction. Thanks for the visit. Count your blessings and pray for world peace. “Making a donation is the ultimate sign of solidarity. Actions speak louder than words.” - Ibrahim Hooper
