Signs Of Spring

I visited the lake this afternoon, just before the sun went down. The sunset was lovely, but it was the blossom on this tree that caught my eye. I’m ready for spring!

There was Cross-country skiing today which I was glued to, of course. From Lahti in Finland this weekend. Today’s races were sprints. The season is soon coming to a close and with all the tragic events in Ukraine, the season has been shortened. The last races were supposed to take place in Tyumen in Russia, in three weeks time. They’ve now been cancelled. For now, the Russian skiers are still able to compete. This weekend. Probably not much longer.
