Abandoned

Floating in the river Lee - but reminding me of the refugees attempting to cross the seas. And wondering about the hypocrisy and racism of the British, who have been very against refugees from Poland and other Eastern European countries, and the battles they have been involved in in the Middle East and Afghanistan - and Iraq - I think that was mostly what Brexit was about? at least as far as the press were concerned - and the refugees from the appalling war in Syria, while our government sanctioned naval ships to try and turn them back - refugees drowning in the channel, while it is now super patriotic to do all we can for refugees from East Europe, which is a good thing of course, but it makes me weep.
