Late Winter Sunset

The air temperature today was 83F but by the time we got to the beach after work, it was almost chilly on the sand.  We'd taken a picnic supper with us and planned on going to the University for a film - Neutral Ground.
We ended up having our picnic in the car and taking in the sunset on the waterway across from the beach. The film was great and the filmmaker and his producer were there afterwards to talk about the making of this independent film.  It was primarily about the taking down of Confederate statues across the south and how difficult the red tape was even after it had been decided.  Very interesting.
