I'm not talking to you.

Lazy Sunday. Made apple puree cake after breakfast as there's only one slice of Guinness fruitcake left. Caught up on newspapers.

After lunch took hound for a chilly walk.  Poor old boy slipped and landed on his bum all panicky.  Not easy to get a frightened 30kg greyhound back on his feet especially when back legs are already wobbly.  Calmed him supporting bum against my legs and encouraged with supporting his chest to get on his feet.  Gave him a hug massaging to get his confidence back. I thought a bit of exercise would help and he soon was sniffing everywhere. But seemed very tired and slow to get home. This episode has shaken him plus its cold and he's likely to be a bit bruised.  It's shaken me too.

Back home he settled on his bed and ate a treat.  Now back on sofa next to me.  Poor boy.
