Thursday: Botanical Gardens

I went to the Botanical Gardens today to look at a possible venue for an event.  And here is entrance to afore-mentioned gardens.

I took care of a few things at work today that I had been putting off for ages - and, unsurprisingly, none of them were as bad as I thought they were going to be.

Today was warm enough to be without a coat.  At work, I had the windows thrown open, there was a guy cutting grass outside and the smells and sounds felt really summery.  That said, after 3 hours of him mowing what is, in essence, a tiny piece of grass I was feeling a bit less at one with nature!

Paul has come to visit so I am envisaging snacks and treats this weekend!
