Risktaker

There are more and more trees in flower by my river, but the weather has been too cold for the pollinators to get in action. I inspected several trees and this adventurous bee was the only one that I found. It was easy to photograph because it was stone dead! Taking risk on a cold day doesn't always pay off! But I do admire its courage, there are so many flowers to pollinate and so few pollinators about.
