Tree ducks

It made me laugh when I saw the head of the female mallard poking up from this tree trunk. This photo gives context - it's the bare trunk on the left. I'm not sure if they're nesting there or just sitting up there for the view.

It was quite bright when I left work so I went for a walk in the park. I've got a busy day tomorrow, work then I'm going to a gig (The Ataris) in the evening.
