A delayed 2020 (I think) event. Ashbourne 10k.

Some really quite impressive runners out today, I was passed inside the last k by someone who’d set off fifteen minutes before me and was one kilometre from finishing 10 miles.

The chap who won the 10k was just under a minute a mile quicker than I was, having said that I was probably twice his age.

And there’s the rub, I managed to be first vet home (4th overall) and also knock 30 seconds of my time from three years ago. Plus I said thank you to every marshall and dog walker on the trail. Maybe on a good day without saying hello, I can get sub 40 mins, however I’d still be a long way back from the overall winner!
