Come Dine With Me.ll

We had our second CDWM tonight. Bloody lovely night. It was Adam’s turn and he’d decided the theme was French. So a French menu and we were all to dress as a stereotypical French person hence the stripes ( and berets worn by me and Jen) ( I did wonder about a little black bob wig but wasn’t brave enough - or maybe too vain as it doesn’t look good on me ) ( and I desperately wanted to wear red lippy but that definitely doesn’t work on old lips - sadly. I think that would be my advice to younger me - wear red lippy before your lips bleed into your face ) ( maybe my advice to older me should be - wear the red lippy and learn to spit in the street)
Anyway back to the evening - Adam hardly ever cooks so it was both lovely and refreshing to see him cooking a three course meal, prepping throughout the day. And all cooked and presented beautifully. My fav was the French onion soup for starter - very tasty.
Going to do my CDWM in April. Think I’m going to go for colour. That way we’ll finally get rid of the last of the blue curaçao and I could bring out the red lippy.
