Walking
There’s a frost that lays until lunchtime in the shade, but it’s warm in the sunshine. We walk along the Tarth, down through Scotstoun Bank, up to Henderland Hill Fort above Mountain Cross.
I put up a tray of mixed lettuce and another, smaller, of celery. Then it’s a drive to Tradeston and back with a gas bottle, while listening to BBC R1’s four part adaption of Espedair Street.
Rabbit stew for tea, with fir apples and cabbage. Followed by banana and ice cream. And an odd drama with Helen Mirren, called The Debt.
