Mattock

Rob has said for years that what he really needs for heavy gardening is a mattock. So yesterday we went in to Haytons to see if they had what he wanted. And yes! What a useful place that is, and they even had a new spring for my secateurs.
So with a lovely sunny day Rob couldn’t wait to try it out. We have been wanting to extend the vegetable patch into a horrible area of raspberry canes that’s been getting worse every year   Amazing! It got through the roots and rocks like they weren’t even there! Well, I couldn’t even have lifted it, but Rob worked for over an hour and cleared several square metres see extra!
He needs to rest now!
