On The Way Home

After the SWI meeting ended I sneaked off to Lidl to buy some camellias that they were selling, well at that price it would have been rude not to!

Coming across the dog leg junction I caught sight of the sunset. I just had to stop for a quick pic. So I pulled into the local agricultural merchant's yard to get this. As I was going back to the car I spotted the little bird  on the grass behind me, picking for his supper. Is he an oystercatcher?  If so, he was a bit off course as we're about 16 miles from the coast. And what on earth was he eating?
