Journey to Nottingham. Grey, featureless and dull. Arlo behaved himself perfectly which was the one saving grace. No having him in nappies anymore doesn't half slow the journey down though.

I've heard 'The Snail and the Whale' so many times now that I think it might have erased everything else from my mind. I'm cleansing myself with this beautiful, cinematic piece of electronica from Floating Points, it's almost trip-hop like in it's use of shuffling beats, muted horns and sweeping strings. A beautiful track.
