Karen’s Lily

Had a lovely time at Karen’s BBQ this afternoon. Lots of laughs. The kind you have with people you’ve known forever & have somehow managed never to have a cross word.

Not sure how common it is today that a man & a woman can be the best of friends with it being just that & the “S” word never plays a part.

I post this today because last night Karen sent me a text asking if I still had the picture I took of her lily. I duly sent it to her not needing to ask why she wanted it.

How could you not be friends with someone who is just as excited as I am that Top Gun 2 is inching ever closer? We’ve had to move our date to see this so many times.

Also love that we had that evening watching the Spanish version of The Orphanage which scared the life out of both of us.

Funny how a random snap of a flower in a garden can all these years later spark so many happy memories.

Guess that’s the beauty of photography.
