it's a small world

I join Anniemay on the Champs Elysee this morning.  She’s on her road bike, hooked up to the screen, going for a personal best.  I’m on my old exercise bike, pottering along enjoying the sights.

My eye is drawn to the bottom right-hand side of the screen.  There’s a list of other riders who are taking part this very morning.  Around 1200 of them, from various countries.  

From the flags I can see that most of Europe is represented as well as riders from Asia and the USA.  At one point a rider from Ukraine appears (???!!) - and others cheer.

Despite what those who seek to divide us would say, we are all very much the same.  But then you know that or you wouldn’t be part of Blip.
