Waiting for warmer weather

The Blip is a detail of the outside table, which is in the downstairs cupboard with the washing machine. Looking forward to some better weather so we can put it in the 'yard and sit out for our coffee.

Spent most of the morning doing general household stuff, and had just started re-organising the spare room when the phone rang. J and S, who spend some of their time in nearby Alnwick, would like to pop in this afternoon with J's fiddle, so MrM can make some adjustments. They arrived just after lunch, and before we knew it, it was past 5.30pm! We last saw them just before the start of the pandemic, so there was a lot to catch up on.

They headed back to Alnwick for a fish supper at Carlo's, and MrM fetched our fish & chips from the local fish van. Then a relaxing evening and a glass or two of red.

In an attempt to maintain some sort of sanity, tried to avoid listening to too much news today - the events in Ukraine are just so horrific.
