Happy Birthday

Today was a spa day - last years birthday present from No.1 and No.2 .  We had a lovely day, chatting and laughing and being pampered.  We started with a gym session, then swim and sauna, then decadent carb filled lunch, then a couple of hours pampering.  My therapist asked how I liked a massage so I said ‘firm’ I think she read that for ‘masochiscally painful’ but I’m sure my muscles felt better after.  

We relaxed in the lounge chatting before driving home.  Words in the car could have spoilt the day but as ever, we talked it out and misunderstandings were put aside.  Love conquers all.  

No.2 made delicious Mary Berry meatballs for dinner and a film and snooze in the chair completed a lovely day.
