The unveiling

This is Mike Williams unveiling the plaque at the official opening of our new toilet block at Old Government House this afternoon. Mike is the Executive Director of the National Parks and Wildlife Service in our state.

This followed our AGM, and after that we celebrated our 39th Birthday Party as a Friends Group. Part of the proceedings included the Grand Opening of the toilet block, followed by the awarding of Life Membership to the couple shown in Paladian's blip. She read the citation for Val and Denis. By coincidence I have known Denis since he was 15 years old when we both played at the same squash club.

After an inspirational speech by John Schutz, CEO of the Department of Environment and Water, it was time to enjoy some terrific food .
