Patience

Off work for another couple of days (I could get used to this!)
I had a walk into town with Young1 this morning and got a few jobs done, spotted this little dog waiting for it's owner outside a cafe.

This afternoon Mrs Runhills and I went into Preston to look a bit further into some family history, we visited the cemetery looking for a grave plot which we found thanks to some very helpful chaps in the cemetery office.

Although we found the plot we were rather disappointed to see that there wasn't a gravestone. We know that they wouldn't have had much money but we assumed the grave would be marked, perhaps the stone has been removed at some time, there were quite a few empty spaces and damaged or supported stones.

I quite like walking round cemeteries, there is always something to see, I have added a couple of pictures to Flickr of gravestones that have been encroached on by trees, have a look here and here if you have got the time.
