The Crow

I adore Crows and have never managed to get a good shot of one before. 
Today being our last day we decided to have a lay in (If you call 8am a lay in) and see what the weather brought in. It was supposed to be cloudy but the BBC weather app got it wrong! It was glorious sunshine and rather warm. We decided to go to The Nature reserve 5 mins down the road from our accommodation.  A good decision, it was and so relaxing. Hardly any people as its still out of season! Perfect.
Didn't get the variety of birds we hoped for but it was fab. I pulled this Crows interest by tempting him with tiny bits of Chipsticks.  I kept an annoyingly noisy seagull away and called the Crow. He did come near to me and at some points the 600mm lens was too close to focus.


Extra is a drone shot of Turf Fen Mill. Didn't hold it up for long as the darn seagulls were not happy about it and kept swooping to attack it and I wasn't going to let that sort of money drop into the drink!
