No. 211: Snow Goose and No. 212: Glaucous Gull

Another splendid day’s birding along the Moray Firth with too many exciting birds to mention. These Snow Geese were a real surprise in a field by the roadside (although our clever leaders had an inkling they were there). The extra is yet another gull, this one being the subject of much debate, but the final verdict was Glaucous Gull, so it is going in as No. 212. If the decision is changed, I will come back and edit the blip. Home tomorrow. It’s been a brilliant but tiring week, so I’m ready for a good rest.
