Coast Path Walk
We had a good day today, a day which helped us temporarily forget the images and stories on the news. Felt thankful and guilty to be so lucky, walking the coast path to Coleton Fishacre on such a glorious day.
The day started well with a green woodpecker in the garden. Jacqui, the Ofsted inspector of birds, declared it to be smart, and rated it outstanding - extras. There were some terrific clouds, the skylarks were flying and singing, and we had lunch at our favourite National Trust property - Coleton Fishacre- the former holiday home of the D’Oyly Carte family. More extras to celebrate the day.
