The Masked Reader

Last year, our school English coordinator organised a masked reader competition in lieu of World Book Day. It was all done ‘virtually’ as we were in lockdown at the time but it was such a hit with the children that we decided to do it again this year.
Today was the big reveal and apparently it went down very well, with all the children chanting ‘take it off’ before each reader was unmasked.
