Ukes for Ukraine

Lunchtime today saw us in Winchester High Street busking with the Winchester  Uke Jam, in aid of the British  Red Cross Ukraine Appeal. 
Also, for the first time, I got to meet another  blipper, in person; none other than Miranda 1008,  yes THE Miranda! (also a denizen of this fair city). What an honour for me! 

Anyway, we had at least  50 ukulele players, and we played for 2 1/2 hours. It was amazing to see the great response we got from  members of the public walking past, both appreciating  the music, and making generous  donations. I've just  heard  the collecting bucket weighs  8.4kg, but counting the money is going to take a while longer yet....
