Roses are red… and pink

I’m house watching for a friend and as a sweetener she gave me these. I have to go to her house every other day and lift the post. Not exactly arduous!
Today I did another stewarding session in the Abbey which I really enjoyed. It was busy as they’re preparing for a concert tonight to raise funds for Ukraine. It was lovely to chat to many different people.
This afternoon I’ve done some prepping as if it were Christmas Eve! My kids are coming up and after a day of courses tomorrow , we’re having our delayed Christmas dinner. I’ve a 4kg turkey defrosting!
