Dave Triumphant

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

Today was a nice relaxing day. I worked from home again and had fun chats with Ellie. I felt useful.

It seems more and more likely I will be staying on at Kāinga Ora. I'm not entirely sure what I'll be doing next or who I'll be working for, but I just can't leave these friends behind. 

It is probably foolish of me. 

In the afternoon, I went out for coffees only to return to high cat drama. It turns out that Dave encountered a rat in the garden and chased it around and around in circles until it escaped through the hedge-hole.

Punky and Jasper ran away. 

So here is Dave triumphant, lying on the grass after chasing away the rat. Caro is going to get our rat guy back in to control the new interloper but I think we may need a cat psychiatrist to restore Punky and Jasper's self-esteem.

P.s. Caro received a message from her cousin who has a new exciting new boyfriend and is very excited.

She sent him a playful message. "Are you luxuriating in that fabulous feeling of finishing your shift???"

He did not respond.

Annoyed, she checked her phone, only to realise she had missed out the VITAL "F" in "shift".
