A Late Bloomer

I've been at the computer most of the day, was never intended but was making reasonable progress so kept going. I wanted to finish 2013 of the photo book, but did 2014 as well.
I took my Canon 7D with the 70 - 200 lens for a late wander around the garden too find something suitable for Flower Friday.  Surprisingly came upon this bloom tucked under and in the shade of the Kowhai tree.

Covid - 22,535 cases,562 people in hospital, 5 deaths.
The (so called) experts are saying it is more likely that there would be 100,000 cases daily.
