Spring Flowers

These tiny little purple flowers appear early morning in spring and then fade away as the day goes on...it is almost impossible to really capture how amazing they are. They carpet large areas of the grass throughout the area like purple blankets. My little guy here had gone out to take pics of them earlier but unfortunately my camera was set to 'manual' and so he got a lot of very bright pictures with no details :0(
Even though we were running late, and everyone was in the car, he insisted we tramp out into the middle of the grass and take his picture in the flowers - sweet - how could I resist :0)

The light could have been better but it was a rush job so I aimed and clicked best I could. I did adjust the brightness slightly in photoshop though
