For Ukraine

I’m a bit late uploading and have other blips to catch up on but, having watched the news this evening followed by Question Time I am so saddened by the suffering of the people of Ukraine. Another blipper suggested a yellow and blue theme for today to show solidarity, it’s the least i could do today.
I sorted through all of the children’s old coats, hats, winter gear etc. to send as donations but, according to our local collections they’re no longer needed.
Other than donating, which we’ve done, I feel completely helpless and almost guilty for going about our everyday lives in peace.
Of course this is no more terrible than other humanitarian crisis, for example in Syria or Afghanistan but I think it’s perhaps the speed in which it has escalated that makes it so shocking?
