Contemplating

I took a short break from the PC this afternoon and the garden was very busy with lots of birds. Most of them seemed very purposeful except this blackbird who didn't move for ages and looked as though he too was taking a break from the daily grind. 
I started work later than normal and went to the library and post office first thing. It was damp and quiet out apart from a lorry causing chaos  on our little high street as he'd hit a bollard on the pavement and was blocking the street. He appeared to have damaged his cab. I didn't hang around to see what happened. Tempers looked a little fragile.
