World Book Day today so I wore this in its honour. We had Stephen Graham , an Australian literacy guru visit our school. He did a live lesson with a P7 class and it was live streamed on YouTube!! It was very interesting. His writing programme is called PM writing. His teaching was old school but I liked the way he taught exposition to the pupils. I had the opportunity to sit in on both sessions and feel inspired to try it with my own class. It is looking like our authority is going to roll this out to all schools. He’s coming back in august for a week for more training.
