Seaside

Quick trip to the seaside today to take some things to my mates caravan. Was a trip down memory lane on a couple of fronts, the first being bringing back special memories of happy childhood holidays with Grandma and Grandad, Grandad eating his ice cream whilst pulling funny faces and Grandma with her large flower patterned dress and pointy glasses. On the way home my mate also had a Gene Pitney CD on in the car, which again brought back fond memories of my Grandma. When i was younger she had an old 45 Gene Pitney record entitled I'm Gonna Be Strong, and i use to get the hairbrush as a microphone and sing my heart out to that record, and still remains one of my all time fave records :-)
