It’s growing

Matt the tree surgeon came this afternoon somewhat unexpectedly and trimmed the ash growing out of the opposite side of the stream and overshadowing our side of the bank.
Most went through the shredder but he logged some of the bigger branches.
A real spring like day, sunshine with a bit of warmth making this morning’s outing with the cycling group a real pleasure.
Needless to say the roofer who had promised (again) to call this afternoon hasn’t shown up.
